Eberspaecher provide both air and water heaters, and both have their advantages - depending on the intended use.
Air heaters are extremely versatile in that they can be installed either inside or outside the drivers cab, providing a rapid and inexpensive source of heat and are ideal for truck cabs, construction or agricultural machines, mobile homes, personnel transport vehicles, breakdown trucks and freight compartments.
Water heaters have the advantage of being able to pre-heat the cab and engine. They are usually installed in the engine compartment and intergrated into the vehicle's cooling circuit. The heat generated is transfered via the vehicle's own air-vents.
Eberspacher heaters have CE and EC type approval for heaters from the German Federal Office for motor vehicles and are also GS tested.
